Just a few days ago, our publication wrote that Hyundai representatives registered a new Neptune trademark. Now it is known for certain that the South Korean automaker plans to introduce the concept of an electric truck, which will receive the designation HDC-6 Neptune. The new zero-emission hydrogen-fueled debut on October 29 in Atlanta, USA.

Judging by the teaser, the appearance of the new truck will receive a design inspired by the 1930s streamliner rail trains. The arched upper part of the car is made in the Art Deco style, and the lower one reminds of General Motors futurlainers. The blue LED strip extends from the front to the rear of the truck, and there is a highlighted circle, which is probably the fuel tank cap.

At the moment, the technical characteristics of the new items are hidden, as are the details of whether Hyundai plans to present a production version of the concept or not.

Another rendering provided by Hyundai shows the interior of the concept, where there are several screens and a single-spoke steering wheel, including an emergency light button. The interior, made in a minimalist style, is apparently devoid of any ordinary buttons and knobs and uses a pair of screens on the sides of the windshield frame, acting as mirrors.

A giant head-up display is also noticeable, showing many details about the fuel cell, as well as weather and a connected phone. Below is a storage area similar to a suitcase

The production version of the Tesla Roadster will be even faster than its prototype

It is argued that the new generation of Tesla Roadster will be faster than its previous version. It was previously stated that the prototype is able to overcome the mark of 400 km / h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2 seconds. Soon deliveries will begin and we will find out!

Franz von Holzhausen, who holds the post of chief designer of Tesla, recently gave an interview where he said that the production version of the Roadster should seriously surpass its prototype.

Von Holzhuzen also led the designers of the North American division of the Japanese brand Mazda. He said that the development of a four-seater hypercar continues. "They are still working on it. It takes more time."

"It will be even better than we announced at the presentation. In every sense." - says Von.

Recall, the second-generation Tesla Roadster was introduced 2 years ago (back in 2017). Even then, its characteristics seemed very impressive. From 0 to 100 km / h it accelerated in just 2 seconds, up to 160 km / h in 4.2 seconds, and covered 1/4 mile altogether in 8.8 seconds. The maximum speed was stated above 400 km / h.

It is alleged that all this is thanks to the Plaid three-engine transmission. Elon Musk in his twitter account said that she will be "the only thing cooler than Ludicrous", and they will also use it in Tesla S and X models, however, the most budget models of the American company will not get it.

Will the Tesla Roadster really be the fastest electric car in the world today? Does it really accelerate to hundreds in just 2 seconds? Soon we will find out, since deliveries will begin in 2020.

“It's an amazing car. It doesn't look like anything else,” said company chief designer Von Holzhausen. “It demonstrates what the electric car is really capable of.”
